Battery Check

Arguably the most important check on most systems. We check the batteries in the control equipment to ensure they are within our specifications.

Alarm & Signalling Test

We ensure that the audible warning devices are working correctly. The external bells also contain their own battery to prevent the bell power from being cut.

For signalled systems we also check to ensure all of the signals are sent and received by the monitoring station.

Walk Test

A walk test is carried out during a maintenance visit to ensure the detection devices are operating as intended. This also includes door contacts and other devices.

Older detection devices can deteriorate and may no longer work correctly, and therefore compromise the system.

Integration

Intruder Alarms Systems can be integrated into CCTV systems, fire alarms, and other smart home devices.

If you have a monitored CCTV system, you can activate the CCTV monitoring when the intruder alarm is set. Fire alarms can be linked to the intruder alarm, which will alert your mobile phone application of the fire. If you have a smart home, here is an integration example;

  • The alarm is triggered
  • All lights are set to red
  • Floodlights are turned on
  • All blinds are opened

We can also integrate an alarm with our access control system so that specific users can arm and disarm the alarm using the access control.

In addition, we can add devices to the system such as smoke & heat detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, break glass detectors, and more.
